David Gerber - President

As co-founder and President, David is responsible for leading the company’s go-to-market strategy – delivering “the right” solution for each individual customer. He also oversees sales, marketing, client relationships and business development. David’s customer philosophy is quite simple; “We will be our customer’s trusted advisor when it comes to their business process automation and content management needs – nothing less will do.”

David’s career in the document management industry spans some 20 years. He began his career as a mechanical engineer at Eastman Kodak designing film-coating machines and microfilm transport systems. It was there he joined the project team that was responsible for designing Kodak’s very first document scanner. His tenure is associated with the world’s foremost leaders in the enterprise content management arena; Eastman Kodak, FileNet, IBM, Hitachi, Open Text, Gauss/Magellan and Kofax where he has served in a variety of roles including; engineer, account executive, business development manager, channel management, director of global alliances and vice president of sales.

Prior to co-founding Tallega Software, David served as the Director of Global Alliances at Kofax, the world’s leading information capture company. There he was responsible for creating and managing global go-to-market relationships with the industry’s leading ECM companies and service providers including EMC/Documentum, IBM, Open Text, Interwoven, Xerox and IKON

Mr. Gerber holds an Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Peter Klentos - Chief Operating Officer

Peter Klentos is the company’s Chief Operating Office responsible for managing Tallega’s internal operations and for driving the successful delivery and overall satisfaction of Tallega’s customer facing initiatives, including implementation services, customer support and technical training.

Peter’s career in document management industry spans some 11+ years in the areas of solution implementation, process consulting, end-user technical support, and executive management. He began his career as one of the original developers and implementation specialists at Magellan Software; an Irvine, CA based company that developed, implemented and supported a suite of document management, enterprise report management and optical storage products. During his tenure at Magellan Software Mr. Klentos held multiple positions including professional services consultant, manager of professional services and vice president of customer support.

Following the 2000 acquisition of Magellan Software by Gauss Interprise, Peter served as V.P. of Global Support for Gauss Interprise. Prior to Tallega, Peter was the Director of Support for the Western Region for Open Text.

Mr. Klentos received a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Cal Poly Pomona

Victor Flores - Sr. Vice President of Sales

Victor is responsible for Tallega’s overall sales strategy and sales operations, for both inside and outward facing efforts. As part of the executive management team, Mr. Flores will also play a large role in the continuing development of our partnering strategy and ultimately delivering the results our partners have come to expect from Tallega.

Mr. Flores brings nearly 30 years of experience in the document management field to Tallega. He started his professional career in 1979 at Ticor Title Insurance Co. in Santa Ana, CA. as the District Manager for the Micrographics Department where he was responsible for all facets of the microfilming operations for Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial County.

Throughout his career in the document management and technology field, Victor has held leadership positions at nearly every level, including, senior account executive, operations manager, regional manager, vice president of sales and marketing and partner/owner. He has also established himself as highly-regarded consultant with the industry’s leading technology providers, including, EMC, IBM, Open Text, Kofax, Captiva, Cardiff, Sourcecorp and many others.

Prior to joining Tallega Software, Victor was a partner/owner with Portford Solutions Group and served as the VP of Sales and Marketing. There he was responsible for creating and executing all the outbound sales and marketing activities for the company.

Mr. Flores holds a B.S. degree in Art Studies from the University of Arkansas and has completed certification programs at the University of Phoenix in the field of Information Technology Management. Victor has also completed multiple certification programs in the content management industry such as: AIIM’s ECM Professional Certification, EMC Software, Kofax, Hyland On-Base, Kodak, Bell & Howell, Fujitsu, Liberty IMS, Captiva, Cardiff and Rightfax.

Clint Hofer - Director of Professional Services & Support

Clint is responsible for Tallega's overall professional services and technical support offerings. He will manage the team that delivers solution configurations, planning, implementation services and client-level technical support.

Mr. Hofer brings a decade of experience in document management systems and technology management to Tallega. Clint is an experienced consultant that has worked with leading technology providers, including EMC, Hyland Software, Kofax, Captiva and many others. His particular areas of expertise are in software/hardware implementation, business process automation, end-user technical support and new product development design and testing.

Clint has received advanced levels of certification for several industry-leading product solutions, including EMC Application Xtender, On-Base Software, Kofax Capture, Captiva Input Accel, ReadSoft, AnyDoc and FileBound. He has also completed specialized technical certifications in several hardware and networking platforms and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Clint is a graduate of Long Beach City College.

Prior to joining Tallega Software, Clint was instrumental in growing a start-up company, including managing the scanning service bureau operation, leading the technical support and professional service teams, as well as playing a key role as a technical sales specialist; helping the company to achieving record revenue growth.
